It is easy to fold and maneuvered in tight spaces with a smaller footprint and folding features that make it a quick mover in crowded spaces. It has rubber wheels and traverses over various terrains with ease. However, the stroller didn't impress in all testing and has some limiting factors like small storage, small canopy, and a design that results in back tipping with very little pressure on the handlebar.
We did like this stroller, but there are other strollers in this review that scored higher, cost less, and simply do the job better than the Swift.

Show full specification details Hide full specification details. Performance Comparison The Mountain Buggy is easy to set up. The handbrake on the Swift is easy to use and has color indicators to help parents know when it is set. While the Swift's bin is on the small side, we were still able to fit our larger diaper bag inside. However, the size, shape, and angle of the bin could easily result in items fall out if not in a larger bag.
The Mountain Buggy Swift's bottle sleeve is unique in the group and worked well in our tests. Unlike traditional cup holder, which often fail to keep cups or bottles contained, the sleeve worked well with traditional bottles and nothing fell out.
The Swift has a vinyl peek-a-boo window that is on the smaller side, but easy to see through. The Swift's 5 point harness is easy to use and adjust. The Swift has a bumper bar that can move to the side for easy access to the seat. The side recline adjustment straps on the Swift, are probably the most primitive in the bunch.
The Swift scored well for maneuverability thanks in large part to the air filled rubber tires and smaller footprint. The swivel front wheel on the Mountain Buggy is lockable for easier pushing on rougher terrain.
The Swift folds easily and self-stands. Folding the Swift is easy when you get a little practice with rotating the handle. The Buggy earned a very nice score of 7 out of 10 for quality. The handlebar is adjustable and we liked it in general, but the cover seems flimsy and likely to be damaged over time.
Learn More. Easy to maneuver, easy to access storage, foot friendly hand brake. Less expensive jogger, great maneuverability, durable. Lack of features, convoluted buckle. Larger, may be hard to lift and carry. Easy to push, does well in tight spaces, but lacks some functionality. Versatile option with quality craftsmanship and features for jogging or everyday use. A budget-minded stroller with the features you need and not much else. Basic stroller that is budget-friendly, lightweight and small for occasional strolling.
An easy-to-maneuver and budget friendly option, but has limited functionality. Does that really matter? Re-inflating your tires is a huge pain, ask anyone who owns a jogging stroller. I repeat: HUGE pain. I also like the adjustable handlebar, which is great for parents who are particularly short or tall.
It also has a decent storage basket and a nice canopy. For using it with a car seat only , you can remove the fabrics, which gives you a simple car seat travel system below. With an adapter sold separately , the Mini is compatible with the following infant car seats:. For the newborn month crowd, you can buy a bassinet the Carrycot Plus , which later converts to a rear-facing child seat by changing the fabric set below.
This is very cool!! The Mountain Buggy Carrycot is one of my very favorites. Baby Alice lived in her carrycot for the better part of 6 months.
Bottom line: The Mountain Buggy Mini is the smallest and lightest all-terrain urban stroller on the market. The big brother to the Mini, the Swift is another compact, all-terrain stroller that weighs in at 20 lbs. Air-filled tires do require more maintenance, but what you get in exchange is incredible suspension and an effortless one-handed push. The Swift has the same infant car seat compatibility and carrycot situation as the Mini above. Bumper bar, adjustable handlebar, and bottle holder included.
Bottom line: A compact, yet legit all-terrain experience. Great for urban and real all-terrain use. Will still fit in small trunks. Lots of utility for the price. This is the same Urban Jungle that we know and love, except the Luxury Collection is wearing a tux.
